A powertrain warranty protects the core mechanical components that move your vehicle. This program covers the engine block and all its internal lubricated parts, the transmission casing and internal components, the torque converter, and the front or rear-wheel drive axle assemblies. Secondary wear-and-tear items like brakes, tires, or electrical systems are not covered under powertrain protection.
No, you are not strictly required to service your vehicle at Wittmeier Chevrolet to maintain your lifetime protection. However, you must follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule outlined in your owner’s manual and keep detailed, verifiable service records. While you can service your vehicle elsewhere, our factory-trained technicians in Chico are always recommended to ensure seamless record-keeping.
